Sewn with linen thread for the text block and cotton craft cord end bands in green and orange. I’m not even sure what the green endpaper is, but it came from the same stash as the brown. The text block is 24lb printer paper from Staples. The decorative brown paper is 100% cotton with an Indian print (but I bought it so long ago I can’t be sure). The Book Cloth is 100% cotton backed with calligraphy paper. sheet of paper) made partly from the scraps of materials from my first attempt. The book is a quarto (1/4 the size of an 8.5x11 in. I did not succeed, and frankly it was miraculous I did it in 36 hours. That included typesetting, printing, sewing, rounding and backing, case construction (including the really fiddly title inset), gluing it all together, and letting it dry. I had set an overly ambitious goal of 24 hours to do this project. (If anyone knows Jo and can tag her so she can see this, I would appreciate it, but she might not be on Tumblr.) I went with one of my all-time favorite Teen Wolf fanfics, Wolf in the House by Joe Lawson. It’s adorable feral-Derek living with the Stilinskis story. Before I tackled doing the two volume set of Adult Wolf, I wanted to see if I could solve a few problems with my process and materials on other books.
